Focusing on detailed planning, the goal of the project was to develop a staircase and openings for a small-scale building functioning as a maritime center. The design of the building followed a general given plan, and was intended to invitingly open in the direction of the lake to its north. The concept underlying the design, from the large scale down to the details, is inspired by the maritime industry, and deliberately displays the structural properties of its architectural elements – steel profiles, cables, screws, bolts, etc.
